Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
By using ZipNest, you agree to the following terms. They’re short on purpose — we want them to be readable.
Reasonable use
You’re welcome to read, link to, and share any page on ZipNest. Bookmark a ZIP profile, send it to a friend, embed a short quote in a blog post, drop a link in a community thread — that’s exactly what the site is for.
We ask that you don’t scrape the site at high volume, redistribute the dataset wholesale, or strip our branding off pages and republish them as your own. The underlying public datasets (US Census ACS, SimpleMaps US ZIPs basic tier, HUD crosswalk) are freely available and are the appropriate starting point for any large-scale data project.
Accuracy disclaimer
We do our best to render public data faithfully, but ZIP code data is messy in real life. ZIPs are administrative routing units, not geographic boundaries; they shift over time, overlap multiple jurisdictions, and sometimes refer to a single building or PO box rather than a residential area. Treat every number on this site as a useful starting estimate, not as ground truth for legal, financial, real estate, or safety decisions.
No advice
Nothing on ZipNest is real estate, financial, legal, tax, medical, or relocation advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions that affect your life or money.
Third-party links
Links to outside sites are provided for convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.
Intellectual property
The site’s name, design, layout, and original prose are © 2026 ZipNest. Underlying public datasets remain the property of their respective sources and are used here under their public-domain or free-redistribution terms.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
